Caerphilly shoppers’ spirits are not dampened!

Despite the disappointing news regarding the cancellation of the BBC Proms in the Park, Castle Court Shopping Centre can report a successful weekend.


Castle Court Shopping Centre in Caerphilly recruited more Kids’ Club members in one weekend than ever before.


Castle Court had an experiential team handing out free Kids Club welcome packs to all those who signed up. The Kids Club, fronted by children’s favourite Rory the Red Welsh Dragon is a way in which the Shopping Centre can engage with the Caerphilly community.


Centre Manger John Couzens is looking on the bright side of the weekend: “It was, of course, a huge disappoint for everyone attending the Proms, and those hoping to watch from home, but not much can be done about a weekend of terrible weather. At Castle Court, we were pleased to be able to offer a sheltered, alternative daytime venue for visitors and shoppers of Caerphilly.”


John says: “We are gifting our BBC Proms competition winners Castle Court Shopping Vouchers instead which I hope they will enjoy - this is an activity that takes place in doors this time!”
